Goods and services trading continued its upward trend in the January-April period with the retail sale value increasing at the highest rate since 2015.
The total retail sale value of goods and services from January to September posted the highest year-on-year increase in 2017, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
Viet Nam''s total retail sales and services revenue reached VND1,430 trillion (US$63.4 billion) in the first five months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 9.1 per cent, officials said.
The General Statistics Office (GSO) yesterday reported that the total
retail sale of goods and services in the first seven months achieved a
year-on-year increase of 11.4 per cent to US$78.8 billion.
Even five years after the financial crisis, consumers still tightly
controlled spending, with purchasing power levelling off in the first
six months of this year.
